We’ve travelled widely and gathered inspiration from the places that stayed with us most. From the rolling countryside of England, where Nick grew up, to the expansive beauty of Gippsland in Victoria, where Danny was raised.

After years of searching for our first home together, we purchased a property originally named ‘Ripley’ when it was built in 1898. The history resonated with us — as did the sense of story and character that comes with older homes.

We also share a fondness for the film and its layered narrative — intriguing, thoughtful and a little unexpected.

The name has stayed with us ever since.
